This video tutorial walks you through an example of exploratory factor analysis (EFA) using SPSS. In this video, I begin by showing you how to assess the factorability of the correlation matrix, then proceed to approaches for determining the number of factors, and then final extraction, rotation, and interpretation of factors. I illustrate how to identify thematic content in items when naming the factors.
