Considered as one of the best business class seats in the world, Is ANA's "The Room" worth the hype and price? Join me, my mom, and brother as we fly from Chicago O'hare to Haneda International Airport aboard ANA's Boeing 777-300ER. We are going to arrive very late in Japan, we'd show you our affordable hotel rooms, and how to spend your first midnight in Shinjuku.
00:00 Check-in. We booked these flights in economy and got ourselves the business class seats by paying a small upgrade fee at the check-in counter. Travel tip: This is rare but wait for airlines to overbook, you can upgrade easily.
01:37 Star Alliance Gold Track. It's a security line reserved for frequent flyers, you need to have Star Alliance Gold or fly First/Business Class passengers. It's available all over the world (It might be called something else in other airports--Access No.1 in Paris CDG....)
02:03 United Polaris Lounge. You need to fly First or Business Class in any Star Alliance member airline to get access. If you have Star Alliance Gold but not flying First or Business, you can use United Club Lounge. Note: If you are into United Airline's mileage program, they might not let you in if you are flying domestic.

24:14 Very Late First day in Japan. Taxi to our hotel in Shinjuku, we tried to look for a restaurant for our first night but decided to buy convenience store food. We were not very hungry. What's your favorite Japanese combini treats?
25:12 Faucet gives tell me you are in Japan without telling me you're in Japan. Quick Hotel Tour!

Thanks for watching!
