Lake District Walks: A Circuit of Buttermere

Описание к видео Lake District Walks: A Circuit of Buttermere

Distance: 8.8km (5.5 Miles)
Ascent: 160m (525ft)
Duration: 3 Hours

Buttermere remains one of the most popular valleys to visit in the Lake District and a walk around the lake that gives the valley its name is usually at the top of the list of things to do!

The walk is easy going and on good paths the whole way round. Offering a mixture of woodland and lakeside walking, the views are totally outstanding for such a small amount of effort to complete.

Parking is available in the village centre at a pay and display or at the National Trust Car Park just outside the village (also Pay and Display). There are two cafes in the village and two pubs serving refreshments.

Have any questions about the route or area I'm walking in? Why not get in touch via Facebook?
