Interstitial lung disease is the most common non-musculoskeletal condition associated with myositis diseases. But all forms of myositis can be associated with lung problems, including pneumonia and poor ventilation because of weakness of the muscles of the chest and throat. In this session, a pulmonologist and myositis expert from Johns Hopkins Myositis Center discusses how the lungs are affected by myositis and how best to treat these conditions.
