Описание к видео Swimming Drill - Catch Catch Pull - Improve Your Catch

Hello guys, welcome back to another swim tutorial! Today, we're focusing on the "Catch Catch Pull" drill, an excellent exercise to enhance your hand entry and overall stroke efficiency.

Why Use the Catch Catch Pull Drill?
This drill is perfect for swimmers who struggle with hand entry issues or tend to slip through the catch phase. It helps you:
- Hold the water with a higher elbow.
- Tighten up the width of your stroke on hand entry.

How to Execute the Drill:
1. Streamline Position: Start in a streamline position with a solid foundation.
2. Initiate Your Catch: Make sure your opposite arm remains extended and your head stays controlled, maintaining a neutral spine for proper alignment.
3. High Elbow Focus: Keep your elbow high from the catch through to the setup phase. Repeat this motion twice to reinforce the technique.
4. Complete the Full Stroke: Focus on the catch to setup phase and push through to finish off your stroke. Turn your head to breathe as you push and extend your hand forward, creating full stroke extension.
5. Switch Sides: Once your stroking side has completed and returned to the entry position, start the process again with the opposite hand.
6. Use Flippers: If you have flippers, use them to execute the drill with more propulsion, creating lift and enhancing your feel for the water.

This drill is fantastic for developing a strong front-end feel in your stroke and improving issues with the entry catch phase. Add this drill to your routine to see significant improvements in your swimming technique.
