Описание к видео Trains in the 1980s - Clapham Junction and stations nearby - 1988/90

This video collection opens with a shot of 33 060 running through Norwood Junction in South-East London.

Next is a Friday lunchtime visit to Clapham Junction mainly to see the down 13:10 Waterloo -Exeter (50 005 Collingwood). Also captured were 33 063/ 021 on MGR wagons, a new "Wessex" unit, 33028 on the up Exeter train and 73 201 Broadlands.

Two visits to Clapham on Thursday 30th June and then Friday 1st July 1988 - both around lunchtime/ early afternoon yielded an unusual Class 73 working, double 33s light engine and a Class 47 on 3 vans; and the Friday included two Class 56 hauled freights, a light Class 47 and light Class 33, and a Class 73 on mixed freight.

Next is Queenstown Road, and 50 002 Superb hauling the down 13:10 Waterloo to Exeter train on a Tuesday in late August.

There follows a very short clip of 2 Class 50s working the up and down Waterloo-Exeters through Wandsworth. It's difficult for me to remember now where these shots were taken from but the first one (50 015 Valiant), I think was from Wandsworth Cemetery; and the second (50 018 Resolution) was from the Wandsworth Common North side bridge.

The section from Kensington Olympia shows a Class 73 on a P.W. train, a Class 37 on Speedlink coal, and a Class 47 on mixed freight.

Finally, we return to Clapham Junction for Class 50s working the Waterloo-Exeter trains on a winter Friday in 1990:
50 049 Defiance on the down 13:15 Waterloo - Exeter
50 007 Sir Edward Elgar on up train at 13:40
50 016 Barham on down 14:15 to Salisbury.
