Attintlo Adde Mogudu (English: Tenant Husband in Mother-in-law's House) is a 1991 Telugu comedy film, produced by K. C. Reddy under the Sri Rajeeva Productions banner and directed by Relangi Narasimha Rao. It stars Rajendra Prasad, Nirosha in the lead roles and music composed by M. M. Keeravani. The film is a remake of the Hindi movie Ghar Ho To Aisa (1990), starring Anil Kapoor and Meenakshi Seshadri in pivotal roles. The film was recorded as a Hit at the box office.

SYNOPSIS:
The film opens with a joint family consisting of Gopi (Rajendra Prasad) his parents Subba Rao (Suthi Velu) & Durgamma (Y. Vijaya), their elder son Vijay (Ahuthi Prasad), his wife Sharda (Vaishnavi) and their daughter Pinky. Along with Gopi & Vijay's sister Kanchana (Deepika), who lives with them with her husband Bhaja Govindam (Mallikarjuna Rao). Durgamma is a short-tempered, aggressive woman who physically and verbally abuses her daughter-in-law, Sharda, for every minor reason, Vijay follows her footsteps and is insensitive and abusive towards his wife and daughter. Durgamma's lazy daughter, Kanchana, is just like her mother and falsely accuses Sharda and also highly domineering over her husband, Bhaja Govindam, who does the housework. Subba Rao is a henpecked man. The only person who actually cares for Sharda is Gopi, who treats his sister-in-law better than his mother.

Gopi is an unemployed youth who is honest. During his quest for a job, he runs into Jhansi (Nirosha), the only daughter of a rich businessman G. M. Rao (Gollapudi Maruthi Rao), who hates men and their domineering ways. Jhansi rejects Gopi because he always criticizes her for her biased hatred towards men. G. M. Rao is impressed with Gopi's honest conduct and appoints him as the manager of his factory. He also asks Gopi to convince his daughter of marriage by changing her mindset towards men.

Meanwhile, Gopi leaves out of the station on a business trip, at that time Durgamma demands Rs 10,000 from Sharda for Vijay's promotion. Sharda pleads her hard, but Durgamma is relentless and has her thrown out of the house. Sharda's mother (Dubbing Janaki), living in poverty finds out about her daughter's situation and succumbs to pressure. Sharda protests to Durgamma, but she kicks her and Pinky out of the house. A few days later, Gopi returns and he is devastated when he comes to know that Sharda and Pinky committed suicide. Gopi is disgusted with the entire family and leaves the home. Nevertheless, the family is apathetic towards these deaths and nonchalantly asks Vijay to make a remarriage with Sony (Disco Shanthi), the only daughter of an industrialist Dwaraka Prasad (Vankayala) as he offers a dowry of Rs 10. Lakhs and Vijay complies.

One day, Jhansi asks Gopi to come to her house, so that she can explain her hatred for men. She shows Gopi a mother and daughter and tells him how they were kicked out of the house by their greedy family. They are revealed to be Sharda & Pinky and Gopi is overjoyed upon seeing them. Sharda tells Gopi that Jhansi was her childhood friend and had rescued them. Now Gopi is enraged and vows revenge against his toxic family. G. M. Rao suggests that Gopi and Jhansi pretend to be a married couple and teach a lesson to their family, to which, both agree. They enter the household as a married couple and gradually bring order to the house by forcing and blackmailing Durgamma, Subba Rao and Kanchana, for which Bhaja Govindam also supports and makes them perform all household tasks. Thereby, Kanchana also gives up her ego and learns to respect Bhaja Govindam. Meantime, Gopi & Jhansi start loving each other but they do not express it.

Meanwhile, Vijay is disgusted with Sony's gallivanting with so many men and her arrogance, so he breaks up the engagement. Vijay is deeply remorseful for being abusive towards his wife and daughter. He is overjoyed when he discovers both of them are alive and they return home and declares that he is leaving his parents forever. Kanchana also decides to leave home along with her husband. Durgamma begs them to stay, but Gopi harshly criticizes his mother of her toxic behavior and how much harm she had caused to the family. Filled with guilt, she weeps and begs Sharda for forgiveness and asks her children to not to desert her. At the same time, G. M. Rao arrives and explains to them regarding Gopi's ploy. Finally, the movie ends with the marriage of Gopi and Jhansi.
