Mitsubishi HS-U58 VHS VCR Wont accept a tape - The belts have MELTED! - Not that uncommon.

Here is a Mitsubishi HS-U58 VHS VCR that came in with the complaint of "Will not accept a tape" I found both of the mechanisms belts had melted and were all over the place. It is a fairly common issue in mid 90's electronics.
