2026 NEW BMW R45 UNVEILED: BMW ANSWER TO SUZUKI GSX-4T & YAMAHA XSR400!!

Following the strong market response to the new BMW F 450 GS, BMW is widely believed to be preparing its next major move: the all-new BMW R45.
Positioned as an affordable expansion of the BMW Motorrad lineup, the R45 is expected to deliver classic boxer-inspired character in a lighter, more accessible package—aimed at riders who want timeless style without sacrificing modern performance.
The success of the F 450 GS has confirmed strong demand for lightweight, affordable adventure bikes that still feel like a true GS. Developed with TVS in India, the F 450 GS features iconic GS styling and a new 420cc parallel-twin engine producing around 48 hp, supported by modern features such as a 6.5-inch TFT display, full-LED lighting, multiple riding modes, and adjustable suspension.
With the R45, BMW could broaden its reach and enter an increasingly competitive arena, potentially facing upcoming rivals like the Suzuki GSX-4T and Yamaha XSR400.
