ಕೇವಲ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕೇಸ್ ದಾಖಲು ಮಾಡದೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಹುದ್ದೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಥಣಿ dysp ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ್ ಮುನ್ನೊಳ್ಳಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಯುವತಿ ಒಬ್ಬಳು ಅಟ್ರಾಸಿಟಿ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಸ್ ದಾಖಲು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಅದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆನೂ ತುಂಬಿದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದ್ದು... ಕೇಸ್ ಯಾವ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕಮಿಟಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರೊಬ್ಬರು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ..

ಅದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಯಬಾಗ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಹುಬ್ಬರವಾಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಜನರು ರಾಯಬಾಗ ತಹಶೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಕಚೇರಿಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು ಹುಬ್ಬರವಾಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿರುವ sc, st ಸ್ಮಶಾನ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಜನರು ಒತ್ತುವರಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ಮಶಾನ ತುಂಬಾ ಬೇಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಡಿ ಎಂದು ಕಚೇರಿ ಎದುರು ಧರಣಿ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು
ತಹಶೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಮುಂಜೆ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾರೈಕೆ ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡಿ ಪಲಾಯನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ

During the SC/ST Atrocity Act Committee meeting at the Raibag Tehsildar's office, several critical issues were discussed, including the status of atrocity cases registered in the Athani DYSP subdivision. Questions were raised about the number of cases, the quality of investigations, and compensation provided to victims under the Social Welfare Department.

The meeting also saw discussions on a previous case filed under the Atrocity Act against Athani DYSP Prashant Munnolli by a young woman. A committee member questioned the current status of the case, demanding transparency.

Meanwhile, residents of Hubbarwadi village in Raibag taluk staged a protest outside the Tehsildar's office, demanding the protection of the SC/ST burial ground from encroachments and the construction of a boundary wall. Tehsildar Suresh Munje addressed the protesters briefly but left without resolving their concerns, leading to further unrest.
