The IMI TAR-21, also more simply known as Tavor, is a bull pup assault rifle made by Israel Military Industries (also famous to be the creator of the Desert Eagle). It is the standard issued weapon of the Israeli infantry.

The S&T Tavor is a cheap clone of the Ares Tavor. It's not bad.

Just like the Ares version, the bolt catch acts as a spring release lever. When you shot the very first shot, no shot is made, but instead the spring is blocked to the rear, which means the next trigger pull will release the spring, and then retenses the spring again. Good thing, because it increases reactivity. And if you're not going to use the gun, a push on the bolt catch releases the spring without shooting.

The performances are not bad, I guess it's ok for the price. Note that I used a 7.4V lipo battery in this video ; I'm not sure it's a good idea to use a lipo with this gun. A 9.6V nimh battery seems to work a bit better.

What I don't like about this gun is... Well, the feeling of the body. The plastic feels cheap, and the gun feels like a empty plastic box. Not to mention is really not well balanced as well, all the weight is in the rear. Compared to other bull pup guns, it doesn't feel great.
