Yamaha RX21 Drum Machine - Is it any good? - 1985

Описание к видео Yamaha RX21 Drum Machine - Is it any good? - 1985

The Yamaha RX series of drum machines were released in 1985. The RX21 was the most affordable option in the series. This drum machine can be found on the 2nd hand market rather cheap compared to other vintage drum machines. The drum machine only features stereo out compared to some of the more high end drum machines in the series. Is this drum machine capable of producing nice sounds in a track? Let's find out! The Yamaha RX21 is running into the ART Multiverb LT. The Multiverb is on Patch no.2 "Gated Reverb" and the mix is dialled down a little to find the sweet spot.

The Roland U-110 is providing bass, strings and the "fantasy" patch on the unit (this is a patch with piano, strings, acoustic guitar, bells) all in one, which creates an interesting sound. The Behringer CRAVE is providing the lead and is running into the ART Multiverb LT on patch No.9 "Echoes Tonight" (600/300ms delay).
