fan edit, i don't hold the copyright to the song or the movie, i own them, this is taken from my limited edition 1984 blu ray from twilight time, they have the scene with the original audio isolated, i edited in John Hurts narration(albeit at a different time mark) from the final film edit.
on the twilight film limited edition, great transfer but the original Eurythmics sound track wasn't made for every scene because some scenes were edited to work with the new more orchestral sound track which the final film got to see, for this reason there wasn't really a way to work the original sound track into most of the scenes, especially of the scenes that were changed after they wrote the music, this is one of the scenes where it didn't change and the film still works with the music, but unfortunately they didn't have an isolated track of the original sound without any music to work with so i had to improvise.

anyway hope you enjoy this look at how surreal 1984's 1984 would've been like if they didn't change the soundtrack.
