at the right moment, just as the pope (the guy from Argentina, Franciscus or something like that) turned his arse to Belgium somewhere around september 27th 2024 (or -again-something like that - who gives a flying f*ck anyways?), Les Renés Binamés reminisce about that other pope (the Polish guy, Karl Woyjtila) and realise that the same song from then is still very actual on this very day. It's a sad world where bishops arrange which victims of child abuse by the catholic church can decide which of these victims can have an amazingly short talk with the pope. I guess they could utter about 5 or 6 syllables before the pope kinda waved his hand, said something that might have sounded like "yeah yeah, blah blah, sorry. Now would you be so kind as to piss off without much further ado?"

In all this sickening absurdity, it couldn't make more sense for a Belgian Band than to write a couple of songs that are as childish as they are accusing. Les Renés Binamés embraces the Belgian surrealism to counter the figurehead of the catholic church. Your banality will be countered by our blasphemous mockery.
