A Tubular Sterilizer is a continuous-processing heat exchanger designed for Ultra-High Temperature (UHT) treatment of viscous, particulate-laden, or fouling-sensitive products. Unlike plate systems, it uses concentric stainless-steel tubes, creating a smooth flow path that minimizes pressure drop and product burn-on.

Product is pumped at high pressure (4-10 bar) through the inner tube while heating/cooling media circulates in the outer annulus. It rapidly heats product to 135-150°C, holds it for a precise 3-6 seconds in a holding tube, then cools it regeneratively.
