This combo swaps out the Linkuriboh and Dragoon part of the board from Part 7 of my series for Borreload Savage Dragon. Linkuriboh is kind of superfluous battle protection for Apollousa since Number 38 redirects any of your opponent's attacks to itself (and they probably won't attack at that point, because it's got 3500 ATK due to DMZ Dragon), and getting Savage out on to the field requires much less Garnets (you only need Rokket Tracer; any decent LV4 Dragon Tuner will do, though).
I won't explain any of the steps in getting from Snake Rain + a free Special Summon to King of the Feral Imps, Alien Ammonite, Alien Shocktrooper, and Curse with a Snake Lily in hand as part of this tutorial, but I will explain how to get from that step to the end board. However, if you want that tutorial, read descriptions from other videos in the series like Part 6.
Here's the combo from King, Ammonite, Shocktrooper, and Curse:
1. Link Summon "Crystron Halqifibrax" using "King" and "Ammonite" as Link Material.
2. Use the effect of "Crystron Halqifibrax" on its summon to bring out "Dragon Buster Destruction Sword."
3. Link Summon "Apollousa, Bow of the Goddess," using "Halqifibrax," "Curse," and "Shocktrooper" as Link Material.
NOTE: You can perform step 6 ahead of 4-5 if you so choose.
4. Link Summon either "Guardragon Elpy" or "Guardragon Pisty," using "Dragon Buster" as Link Material. If you choose to summon "Pisty," then use its effect to Special Summon "Dragon Buster" back from the GY, and then use "Dragon Buster" as Link Material for "Elpy," in order to use the effect of "Elpy" to Special Summon "DMZ Dragon" from your hand or Deck. If you choose to summon "Elpy," then use its effect to Special Summon "DMZ Dragon" from your hand or Deck, then use "DMZ Dragon" as Link Material for "Pisty," in order to use the effect of "Pisty" to Special Summon "DMZ Dragon" from your GY.
5. Link Summon "Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres," using "Pisty" and "Elpy" as Link Material.
6. Use the first effect of "Snake Lily of the Abhyss" to send an "Aleth, Dusk of the Abhyss" to the GY, and then use its second effect to Special Summon "Curse" from your GY.
7. Tribute "Spheres" in order to Special Summon "Curse" via its own effect, and use the effect of "Spheres" to Special Summon a "Rokket Tracer" from your hand or Deck (or any other usable LV4 Dragon Tuner, as stated previously).
8. Xyz Summon "Number 38: Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy," using "Curse" and "Aleth" as Xyz Material. (NOTE: if you negate an opponent's Spell card with this effect, detach "Curse" first so you can potentially do some follow-up with "Nihil" and "Null" in your GY on your next turn)
9. Use the effect of "DMZ Dragon" to equip "Dragon Buster" to your "Number 38," in order to lock your opponent out of the Extra Deck.
10. Synchro Summon "Borreload Savage Dragon," using "Rokket Tracer" and "DMZ Dragon" as Synchro Material. (on its Summon, let "Savage" be equipped with "Halqifibrax" to have the maximum amount of negates)
And there you have it: an omni-negate, 3 monster negates, a Spell negate, an Extra Deck lock, and an attack redirector. What's crazier about this combo is that DMZ Dragon has an effect that lets you destroy an Equip Card on a monster that just battled to let it attack again; this means that this board potentially OTKs, even if Apollousa has burnt up all its ATK points in negating effects. Of course, alternatively, this also can set you up for a good follow-up play in busting out something like an Accesscode Talker to close out the game. This is a strong board, but it can lose to things like "Infinite Impermanence" + "Evenly Matched," "The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode," "Dark Ruler No More" + "Lightning Storm," an early-use "Nibiru," and other devastating go-second enablers. However, most Decks get obliterated by such things, so I don't think it's a particular weakness of this strategy.
Again, have fun with this combo until "Dragon Buster" gets re-banned. :)
