So...I went over the 5 minute restriction.

Totally aware this eliminates me from the competition itself, but I had a lot of fun making it. I decided last minute to create a horror short for this years competition and I ended up making THE CURSE in two weeks off the back of a holiday to Italy followed by a bout of norovirus in the middle of production just to slow things down more. I know right, f*ck me.
I loved making RUN a couple years back and Jakob Owens Horror Short Film Contest always manages to invigorate me and get my creative juices flowing. Ultimately, I'm fine with this not making the cut. It helped spearhead me into making a fun, weird horror short with my good friends and that's more than enough of a win for me. That said, NEXT year I'll be sure to give myself more time to make something that actually fits in the time limit. Hopefully...
