SZ Bay: At sunset on Sunday, I was driving in Shenzhen Center North District and Skyscrapers. The sun shines on the skyscrapers, making the steel buildings look more warm and charming.
The Center North District is an extension of Shenzhen's Central Business District. Here exists the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, which is the 2nd largest stock exchange in China and the 7th largest in the Global. In the Center North District is a series of public art buildings, including the famous Shenzhen Cultural Center (includes Shenzhen Concert Hall and Shenzhen Library) and Shenzhen Book City, designed by outstanding Japanese architects Arata Isozaki and Kisho Kurokawa.
In China, Shenzhen's Central Business District is second only to Shanghai in size, but it is newer than Shanghai.
I start from the east side of Shenzhen Civic Center, go westward through the financial area, high-end apartment area, and the stock exchange, then drive eastward, and tour around the public art buildings such as Shenzhen Cultural Center and Shenzhen Book City, and finally return to the south side of the Civic Center.
