Newcastle to Skiathos... DIVERTED FLIGHT TO KAVALA THEN THESSALONIKI - Airbus A321 CFM Ceo

As some of you will know, On the 7th of August I had planned to fly to Skiathos with Thomas Cook. After a delayed departure from NCL due to shortage of apron space at JSI, we were circled around the Northern Sporades before being diverted to Kavala Megos Alexandros Airport in mainland Greece. We refueled and waited 3hrs to find out what was happening; we were told we were being diverted to Thessaloniki to be ferried across to Skiathos that night. We ended up having to stay the night in Thessaloniki before being sent on the ferry the next morning getting me to the Amaretto cafe just before noon.

I'm in Skiathos Until Friday the 14th of August and have a lot more content coming from the fantastic spotting locations around the airport.
