Writer and journalist Valery Panyushkin is a great storyteller. In this talk he explores the elements that make a story good and shares key principles of storytelling. Using this he shows how to make a simple story more dramatic and captivating. Above though his own life demonstrates how we can make the world better using timeless power of storytelling. Collaborated with the Russian magazine The New Times, the Vedomosti newspaper, the Kommersant publishing house, the Snob magazine, was a screenwriter on the First Channel and a host on Rain and Our Radio, the chief editor of the glossy Gala and chief editor of the acute social portal "Talkie Dela", for the rubric in "Gazeta.ru" was awarded the "Golden Pen of Russia" prize. The author of nine books and scripts for the concerts of the fund "Give life". This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
