A need for a quick stealth "bunk house" to use for during the weekdays in the city where I work, but no longer have a home, inspired me to buy a low mile 2003 Ford Windstar van. I'm doing a very simple "build" by putting in a folding cot and eventually a small counter for cooking and washing, inspired by other YouTubers who have done similar.

Part 1 was literally nothing but giving the carpets a thorough shampoo and rinse, and setting up my cot.

Part 2 is to build a small counter for a single burner stove and small sink, with storage under. As I use the van, I'm sure I will identify needs that come up, so I'm just taking it a step at a time.

My goal is to make the van as inconspicuous as possible, and that means nothing sticking out or bolted onto the van. I'll add tint to the windows to make them even darker, then have panels or blackout curtains to complete the job. Luckily Ford Windstars have pretty dark windows to start, but it will he nice to have them even darker.
