Persephone is the daughter of Demeter, the goddess of agriculture and all things that grow, and Zeus, the king of Olympus. She spent her days of endless spring and summer dancing and merrymaking with nymphs of the meadow. All who look upon her feel joy and happiness. But her immortal life changed forever when she garnered the attention of Hades, the grim god of the dead!
