A smaller group set out on the Zwift Cliffside Loop today, which made for a very casual race start. Once we hit the main climb, things took a turn as the wattage climbed well beyond what I had in my legs. So, I stayed inside myself, rode my own ride up the climb, across the cliffside, and down the suspension bridge. And to my surprise, and perhaps the surprise of those ahead of me, I latched back on to the second group (one rider soloed the ride and left us all... impressive). I did what I could at the finish and managed to salvage a respectable race today. Fun and fitness was had, as always!
