She then discusses AUA guidelines and key changes in diagnosis and treatment as well as flare triggers. Dr. Dobberfuhl emphasizes the need for cystoscopy when a concern for Hunner lesions exists, or when other conventional therapies have failed. Dr. Dobberfuhl rounds out her lecture with traditional management strategies, innovative approaches and how to stay out of the weeds when managing this complex and often pain inducing syndrome.
