An Introduction to the Multi-Range Sound level Meter. It is supplied with a soft carry case, Acoustic Foam Wind Muffler and Battery.

This instrument is ideal for environmental monitoring and heath and safety applications to monitor sound levels. It is manufactured to the IEC 60651 Type 2 International Standard.

The display is a Hi Contrast LCD with clear digits, a bar-graph and function indicators. It has a display back-light for work in low light environments.

The user can select a measurement range from 30 up to 130dB or 3 selectable ranges being 30 to 80dB, 50 to 100dB or 80 to 130dB.

It has selectable A or C frequency weightings.

It also features fast or slow response filters. Fast response has a sampling rate of once every 125 milli seconds whilst slow response has a sampling rate of every 1 second.

There is a data hold function. By selecting this, the current reading will be frozen on the display even if the measured values change.

There is a min/max memory. By selecting this, the instrument will display the highest and lowest monitored value since power on.

It has an auto-power off function after 15 minutes of no activity. It also has a low battery indicator.

It is supplied with a 2 year warranty.
