Mr.Aryadan Shoukath took it as a challenge to restore the festive tradition of Nilambur. In order to revive this symbol of cultural heritage of Nilambur, He was intensely supported by ‘Kerala Vyapari Vyavasai Ekopana Samithi’ and Merchant’s Association of Nilambur and brought the spirit of this festival back.

Over the last 10 years Nilambur has witnessed too long week of glamour, entertainment and festivities during the month of January.

Today, The Nilambur Pattuklsav&Tourism festival is a colorful festival which has earn the spot on the top few festival destinations’ list of Kerala Tourism Promotional calendar.
