Nowadays faulty components are coming from factory itself. i heared this problem from many owners who bought it new. Carb was cleaned, it is not the carb. A faulty cdi unit and ignition coil can cause such missing problems. in my case it was coil, in your case it could be CDI is the culprit. Just replace it under warranty. Some service centers would deny it but tell them it's a serious issue or complain to bajaj.
