Various indigenous ethnic groups are living in and around the Marayon Tong hills. Tripura, Marma, Murang is one of them. The Marmas live at the bottom of the hill. And the settlements of the Murang nation are scattered in the folds of the mountains
How to go to Marayon Tung:
You have to get on the bus going to Cox's Bazar from any part of the country and get off at Chakraya. From there you have to come to Alikadam by bus jeep or CNG. If you go by the local car, the fare will be 80 takas, and if you reserve a jeep, the cost will be 1200 to 1500 taka. 12/13 people can sit in one jeep. From Alikadam you have to take an autorickshaw to a place called Awasik. Rent 20 tk. If you go to the residence and ask anyone about Marian Tung, they will show you the way. There is only one road. After walking this road for two and a half hours, you will reach Marayong Tong Jadi. It is the highest hill in Alikadam.

Where to stay:
Everyone usually goes camping in Marayon Tong. So you have to take camping equipment with you. Such as water, glucose, dry food, first aid, and if you want to cook, take with you the necessary cooking ingredients. Make sure you have sheets and sleeping bags with you. Because even on a hot day, the mountains get cold at night. When camping, first talk to the local headman. Give him your phone number, you also keep his phone number. So that you can contact the headman for any kind of cooperation if needed.
