Recipe:
4 tb softened butter
6 or 7 slices of white sandwich bread
1/4 cup sugar mixed with 2 tsp cinnamon

the custard:
5 large eggs
5 egg yolks
3/4 cup sugar
3 3/4 cups hot milk
1 1/2 tb vanilla extract

strawberry sauce:
1 quart strawberries
3 to 4 tb lemon juice
1 cup of sugar
