Whistleblower Julie Patidongan, alias "Totoy," has alleged that several police officers received monthly bribes amounting to over P2 million from the camp of businessman Atong Ang, in connection with the case of missing cockfight enthusiasts.

Patidongan, a former aide of Atong Ang, made the revelation in an interview with ABS-CBN News on Tuesday (July 8), claiming that the bribe was distributed among police officers involved in the alleged abductions and killings of cockfighting players.

He said that a police lieutenant colonel was receiving P2 million monthly bribe while the rest of the officers share the remaining P500,000.

Aside from the lieutenant colonel, he identified the other officers involved as holding various ranks, including a lieutenant, executive master sergeant, staff master sergeant, staff sergeant, and corporal.

ABS-CBN News has reached out to Ang’s camp for comment, but they have yet to respond as of posting.
