शहरी जीवन सोडून नागझिरासारख्या जंगलात कायमचं जाऊन राहणं आणि तिथल्या गोंड आदिवासींसाठी, प्राण्यांसाठी आणि मुख्यतः पक्ष्यांसाठीच्या कामात स्वतःला वाहून घेणं हे काही सोप्पं काम नाही. निसर्गाचं वेड डोक्यात घेऊन फिरणाऱ्या 'किरण पुरंदरे' या भन्नाट माणसाने आदिवासींच्या शिक्षणासाठी आणि स्थानिक लोकांच्या रोजगार निर्मितीसाठी केलेलं काम खरंच अभिमानास्पद आहे !

किरण पुरंदरे म्हणजेच लहान मुलांचे 'किका' त्यांच्या असामान्य कामातून व सामान्य राहणीमानातून खऱ्याखुऱ्या प्रगत महाराष्ट्राचं प्रतिनिधित्व करतायत. त्यांचे हे अलौकिक कार्य महाराष्ट्रासमोर आणण्याचा 'स्वयं टॉक्स'चा एक प्रयत्न म्हणजेच ही फिल्म!
