The Hindu minority in Bangladesh is staging large-scale protests following the arrest of Hindu monk Krishna das Prabhu, also known as Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari. Prabhu, a spokesperson for the ISKCON temple, was leading protests advocating for the protection of the Hindu community amid increasing atrocities following a change in government. Protesters in Dhaka were attacked by extremists, resulting in several injuries. The Hindu community is demanding Prabhu's release, warning of a loss of their identity if he is not freed.
