Since its establishment in 2018, the Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency (HFDA) has been working together with the leading players of the design sector on both a domestic and international level, to provide effective and structured professional support within the Hungarian design industry.

One of the main focus of the HFDA is the wide-scale presentation of the potential inherent in Hungarian designers, and by doing so through collaborations and informative workshops, the Bauhaus’s impact on contemporary design will also be highlighted.

András Húnfalvi and Ferenc Laufer, founders of Flying Objects, will give insight on the product design process not only through examples of international and Hungarian design, but also through their Red Dot Design winning product, calling attention to the parallel features and keystones that are in line with the spirit of Bauhaus.

The revolutionary role of the Bauhaus is deeply rooted in its educational reform. In their presentation, the co-founders (Péter Pozsár and Dávid Ráday) of the internationally acclaimed Hello Wood – both a creative architecture and design studio and an educational platform – explore the „Bauhaus effect” in contemporary educational models that showcase Hungarian university programs and Hello Wood's forthcoming educational project: The Builders Society.
