This fan comes from the same electronic store where I got the NIB Orbit 9" table fan sometime ago (which has been sold now). This fan is also a new old stock, only it doesn't came with the original box and the warranty card. It's just the fan and the plastic itself.

As I mentioned in my Orbit table fan video, I'm actually not really into portable fans, or in other word "I'm not a big fan of portable fans". Which is why I usually acquiring ceiling fans and ventilation fans rather than portable fans. But for this exact fan, uh I make an exception. Because it looks pretty much like a fan that was designed and built in the United States! That's the main reason why I decided to grab it right after I found it at the electronic store. And actually, this isn't the actual Orbit box fan I am going to take at that time. The fan that I'm originally going to take at that time is a different model of an Orbit box fan in matcha-ish color which looks a lot more interesting. But unfortunately, that fan has a damage on a part where the shaded-pole fan motor is attached to, therefore I ended up changing it with this grey Orbit Mira. And after a few months of owning, I regretted that I decide to not grabbing the Matcha-ish Orbit box fan JUST because of the damage, because right after I contacted the store again to confirm whether the fan is still there or not, well, it has already been sold. 🙂

As I already mentioned in my Orbit table fan video, Orbit is a sub-brand of Cosmos. And I still have no clue why they were very uncommon, even I never know Orbit fan brand does exists until I joined the Indonesian fan community. None of the designs and models from the Orbit fan company line-up are caught my attention, except for their small box fans models, and one of them is this fan!

For the performance itself, well, the airflow is really disappointing. It blows almost little air, feels like the cheap fans sold nowadays. Making it much more useful as a decoration rather than a daily-use fan. But that downside doesn't comparable to how interestingly this fan is designed, it really gives the US vibes that I liked a lot, because I've been a big fan of US fans faarrr away before I made this YouTube channel!
