G.I. Joe Longplay (Arcade) [QHD]

Growing up, G.I. Joe was one of the few toys I genuinely enjoyed playing with, outside of computers. I had quite the collection back in the day, and I loved the variety of characters and all their little plastic guns and snap-on equipment.

Snake-Eyes was one of my favourite G.I. Joe figures - I even had a large, 6" Snake Eyes Action Man figure, so he was the logical choice when it came to recording this longplay of Konami's coin-op, based on the iconic brand.

The game is kind of a mix of Operation Thunderbolt and Cabal, demonstrating some impressive sprite scaling and graphical effects. It also features Konami's superior sound technology, including plenty of digitised speech samples and thundering explosions.
