Week 1 / Video 3: Sample until we learn something!

Описание к видео Week 1 / Video 3: Sample until we learn something!

In this episode we carry on with our journey through the basic workflow we paper-and-penciled in the first video. Before we implement our probabilistic reasoning model in R, we use a contingency table to base our evolving logic on Bayes Rule with marginal (conditional) and joint (both-and) probabilities. After all of that we build in R gorgeous (If I must say...) plots including captions, titles, sub-titles, axis labels, and text annotations on the plot with vertical and horizontal lines, histograms, lines, points. Yes, we do all of this deploying the grammar of graphics in the ggplot2 tidyverse package. Visualization of our results will greatly enhance our understanding and deliver actionable results to the consumers of our analysis. We also play with titles which dynamically change with new model assumptions. We build the basic inference workhorse called a Highest Posterior Density Interval aka the credibility interval into a plot. Perhaps we should animate this? Why not! Stay tuned.
