During Berlin Crisis in 1961. Scene of a street in East Berlin. A man stands on the West side of Berlin, clicks photo of East Berlin. A policeman disturbs and blocks him with a mirror. People of East Berlin go with their few possessions escaping to West Berlin. Military trucks parked on East Berlin side. People wave handkerchiefs. A boy loads his luggage in a truck. People on the East Berlin side with their possessions. A policeman reflects with a mirror. People on the West Berlin side watch a water hose sprayed at them to deter onlookers. A man sits on a car and clicks photos as water is sprayed on him and the car moves from there. Smoke or tear gas bomb comes from East Berlin side and men throw them back. Smoke seen everywhere. A man drops a woman from an apartment to a waiting crowd helping them flee East Berlin. A man tries to pull her leg and drop her down. People stand on ground and shout. A woman at fifth floor window. Policemen see from the ground. She drops in fire net held by policemen. Her husband follows her with their possessions. Work goes on for building the Berlin Wall. Giant bulldozer drops dirt on ground. People cut hole in barbed wire and escape. Policemen and others help them. East Berlin police stop people from escaping. A man and two girls after they successfully come to West Berlin side. Location: Germany. Date: September 1961.
