FUGITIVE DUST is a song about the environmental threat of toxic mining waste leftover from decades of dumping mine tailings since the 1800s around Park City, Utah. Fugitive dust is the technical term for toxins blowing in the air. In the summer of 2021, a group of Park City citizens spoke out against the city council's plan to build a hazardous waste site in the city limits. The people won and the city gave up....for now. "When the wind blows, you got Fugitive Dust."
