Projector or TV which is better? If you're building a Theater, a Man Cave, a Media Room, or maybe just your living room, you may be asking if Projector or TV is better for you. It's all about the application. In this video we take a quick look.

One of the common things we'll hear 'is a flatscreen better than projector' - well.... sort of.

There are aspects of a flatscreen that are usually superior to a Projector, assuming you've purchased a decent flat screen. But it's all about the application.

For Theaters, and cinematic experiences we usually prefer a large screen so that it feels 'immersive.' This isn't just about movies. The same is true with live events like the super bowl. The more immersive the better.

But in open rooms like a media room, or a bonus room, or a living room where an 80" screen is adequate, and maybe there's some ambient light issues, a flatscreen is usually preferred.

That's not to say that you can't use a flatscreen in a theater, or a projector in the living room. At the end of the day it's really a personal preference, and it's about what you want.
