October 4th, is always a hard day for Danny Gatton fans, friends and family. We recorded Danny and his band at The Flood Zone on May 10, 1990. During the show Dave Elliot broke his snare drum head. While he was fixing it Danny Gatton and John Previti improvised on "Farewell Blues".
This edit is a rough version but I wanted to share it today. I particularly love the harmonics and how well you can see and hear the sounds Danny gets with his volume knobs.
