Ostriches can eat a variety of foods such as grasses, grains, seeds, vegetables, and specialty foods. Their diet should contain enough protein, calcium, and vitamins. A baby ostrich's diet may vary slightly.
Breeding of ostriches usually starts at the age of 2 to 3 years. A female ostrich lays about 40 to 60 eggs a year. You can use the incubator to hatch the baby from the egg. Eggs take about 42 to 46 days to hatch in an incubator.
