In Defense of Plants: DUNES

DUNES is the story of ecological succession - how one plant community gradually replaces another. Succession is not an altruistic process rather its simply the natural progression of species as each individual alters its surroundings in favor of others. Join us as we explore the concept of ecological succession on the shores of Lake Michigan. This primeval Great Lakes landscape is many thousands of years in the making.
