POLICE TAPPACHABUTRA ALONG WITH TASK FORCE OFFICIALS CONDUCTED SPECIAL DRIVE ON GAMBLING HOUSE i.e., CRICKET BETTING AND ARRESTED (5) PERSONS.
As per the instructions of the superior officers & respected DCP, South West Zone officer to curb the illegal activity of Gambling (betting with money), the Police Tappachabutra along with Task force officials conducted a special drive & raids on Gambling house in the limits of P.S Tappachabutra on 24.04.2023 and arrested (5) persons in Cricket Betting case vide Cr.No.130/2023 U/s 3 & 4 T.S Gaming Act of PS Tappachabutra, Hyderabad.

3. Putta Mallesh S/o. P Ramulu, age: 25 yrs, Occ: Business, R/o. 13-6-448/153,Gudimalakapur, Hyderabad (Sub-Bookie)
4.Nanna Sai Kiran S/o. N Bikshapathi, age; 30 yrs, occ: Business, R/o. H No.4-7-154/3/C/8, Panduranga Nagar, Street No.4, Attapur, Hyderabad
5.Bommana Srikanth Reddy S/o. Late B Subba Reddy, age: 35 yrs, Occ: Private employee, R/o. Near Saibaba Theater, Huzrunagar, Kodada

The accused persons are organizing cricket betting at H.No.13-6-448/153, beside Ramalayam Heera Nagar, Gudimalkapur, Hyderabad by accepting the amount directly & indirectly in cell phones from known & unknown persons in connection with ongoing IPL-2023 cricket matches. Based on the team performances in Cricket betting, they used to set the betting range & ratio on their own for the day and used to accept the betting accordingly. They used to pay the punters, who won the betting for the day, and used to keep the profit amount with them.
The superior officers appreciated the good work done by Police Tappachabutra for detecting the cricket betting & apprehension the accused with the seizure of property
