Boat Steering Cable Replacement | Malibu Wakesetter VLX Steering Cable Replacement

In this video, I will show you how to replace the steering cable in your malibu boat. For this video, I replace the steering cable in a 2005 Malibu Wakesetter VLX. Steering cables stiffen up and become difficult to control the boat. Replacing the steering cable can make your boat drive like it is new. The steering cables don't need to be replaced on a regular basis, typically a couple times in a boats life. The steering cable shouldn't be too difficult to replace on your own. This steering cable replacement video is for a Malibu Wakesetter VLX, However, the process will be similar for other inboard boats, including Malibu, Axis, Tige, Nautique, Moomba, Supra, Centurion, Supreme, MB Sports, etc.
