Did I Void My Warranty? Data Showing Furrion AC Temp Sensor Relocation Before & After

Описание к видео Did I Void My Warranty? Data Showing Furrion AC Temp Sensor Relocation Before & After

If you have a Furrion Chill rooftop air conditioner on your RV with the temperature sensor located in the return plenum and your RV feels uncomfortable or humid, then this video is for you. I was reluctant to modify the AC in a way that would void my factory warranty, so I came up with the idea to run an experiment to document and record temperature and humidity across the different settings ranging from fan ON and fan AUTO along with relocating the temp sensor from the return plenum to the wall thermostat. While the experiment I conducted wasn't perfect, the end results seem to confirm relocating the temperature sensor to the wall or thermostat, helps facilitate more consistent temperatures and humidity, making life in your RV more comfortable overall.
