In Nov 2022, Mr. Neil (toopeppy) and i, took a bunch of gear and made our way to 2bq studio in Chennai and recorded a bunch of covers, and finally it's going up on my YouTube Channel.

Storytime (sorry, not sorry):

Growing up in a Christian household, i wasn't allowed to listen to anything that isn't gospel music 😭 (i don't have any complaints tho) and Red hot chili peppers was the first band i got into, and also fell in love with. A bunch of friends from church would listen to rhcp songs that we hadn't heard and would come together on Saturdays to show each what we had learnt over the week, that's how it started. Be it anthony's ability to turn absolute gibberish into poetry, or flea's tasteful basslines and the outrageous slapping, or chad smith's grooves carrying entire sections, or mr frusciante's melodic phrases and in-your-face backing vocals. Its was chaos, it was the perfect storm in a teacup fr. For the first time, i saw what 4 unique individuals could do to an arrangement. Be original, be you.

Sidenote: which i will not elaborate on - my friends and i wanted to start a rhcp tribute band called Blue Cold Icy Checkers 🤧😵‍💫😵‍💫 let's just say we were obsessed.
