24SU Class #1: Welcome to SOC 119

Welcome to the first class of the Summer 2024 semester of SOC 119. This class has moments from two different lectures that were live streamed five years apart. Both lectures were class one for their respective semesters. The older lecture was live streamed on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 and the newer lecture was live streamed on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Both lectures were streamed on Penn State’s University Park Campus.

We live stream every class, Tuesdays and Thursdays!
🏖️ August to 🍂 December, the stream happens from 1635-1750 (435-550pm).
☃️ January to 🌷 May, the stream happens from 1505-1620 (305-420pm).

We also stream Office Hours on Wednesdays from 1500-1630 (300-430pm).
