Camp Pendleton, CA: Special Warfare Introductory Pool Training: SOCOM Athlete students conduct rifle recovery drills for the first time from a 30 ft. platform at the 13 APR Hell Day San Clemente event. Students had the honor of receiving instruction from Navy SARC/SOIDC, Recon Marines, and Air Force PJ at the Reconnaissance Training Co. Facilities located on Camp Pendleton, CA.

Students are not authorized to push off the bottom of the pool and must ascend while maintaining a clenched right fist overhead. These techniques are utilized in pre-SCUBA/Combat Dive Courses across the military branches to safely develop and train combat divers for water operations.
