Josef and Jan Prasil, twin brothers who together form AMISTAT are easily recognisable for their acoustic set heard on the streets of Melbourne. Originally from Germany, the brothers reunited in 2013 to rekindle their music. The twins utilised realtime audiences to practice and optimise their sound for the release of their first EP "It's Not Words".

Borne of the intimacy only twins share, their unadorned sound produces unique harmonies. Each song captures private moments and through simple lyrics these young German Artists infuse their sentiment, hopes and ambitions.

Making friendships as their namesake suggests, AMISTAT, launch their first EP "It's Not Word's". Produced by Adam Rhodes, who has worked with Angus & Julia Stone, The Cat Empire, and Husky, and now AMISTAT, evokes an unequivocal musical journey of these two talented musicians.
