Last month, I was in Jabalpur for a documentary film project. Had a great experience interacting with and interviewing Hon. Rakesh Ji Singh, who has been a Member of Parliament for the Jabalpur constituency for the past 20 years. He is the only MP (Saansad) of the BJP to win consecutive elections with an increased victory margin!!

Amazed to see Rakesh Ji’s vision and approach to considering tourism as an industry that can create millions of jobs and business opportunities. His determination to make Jabalpur a tourist destination by developing ahead of its time connectivity (his persuasion and fight for the airport led to more flights for Jabalpur) and infrastructure (Universities, IT Park, Science Centre, High Court, Passport Office, Hospitals, etc.) Under his leadership, Jabalpur will soon have a ring road, which will be a game changer for the entire state! This 112-kilometre-long ring road will be the second-longest ring road in the country. The longest one is in Hyderabad - 158 km, serving 1 crore+ population; however, Jabalpur’s population is just 15 lakh! Rakesh Ji’s vision and approach will have a global impact on the state’s economy, transforming Jabalpur into a logistics hub for the country. I will not be surprised if Jabalpur becomes the state capital in the near future!

The shooting of ‘Narmada Maiya ki Aarti was completely a spiritual experience! Mesmerised to see ‘Bhedaghat, the main tourist attraction of Jabalpur, famous for the high marble rocks making a valley through which the river Narmada flows. Jabalpur is surrounded by many reserve forests, forts, lakes, and gardens. A large number of vibrant food joints, choupatis, and the taste of local cuisine are other attractions. Many thanks to Shree Prashant Pole Ji for offering such a revolutionary project!
With the Jabalpur project, "Point of View" (the company) has crossed Maharashtra boundaries!
